Progress in Reynoldstown on this modified “East Lake” ADU. Designed for the homeowner’s mother and tucked out of view from the street, it’s another great example of the gentle density and multigenerational living that ADUs can provide.💚

This ‘Kirkwood’ model ADU in EAV is coming along nicely. The second front door is optional - these clients decided to keep it and utilize that room / bathroom as a separate office while visiting family stays in the rest of ADU. Now on one property they have a 3/2 primary, a 1/1 guest house, and a home office - all by right, no variance required, just the beauty and versatility of accessory dwelling units.

Another project to break ground! 👍 This Buckhead ADU will be for the homeowners growing family and their parents who typically visit for weeks at a time and stay in Airbnbs. The second story of the ‘Ormewood’ model hasn’t been framed yet but you can see the very cool Buckhead skyline views emerging. They were fortunate to land in a small pocket of zoning in Buckhead that allows for accessory dwelling units by right. We’re excited to see this one come to life!

Instead of moving, this Ormewood Park family found a way to make their home work for three generations and stay in the neighborhood they love. Their backyard ADU gives retired grandparents a place to spend winters in Atlanta while providing childcare support, guest space, and the flexibility every growing family needs. Another project recently breaking ground - the Kirkwood model on a corner lot in East Atlanta Village.

This ADU will be used for aging kids, extended family stays, and a home office. A year ago, the homeowners explored moving to a larger house, but like many people, they realized the market was (and still is) pretty wild. Instead of uprooting, they decided to stay in the neighborhood they love and add flexible space in the backyard.

There’s a lot to like about this one from both a value and privacy standpoint - corner lot, street-facing layout, and tucked onto a sleepy side street in EAV. Hooray for housing!
