The Kora Shriner’s Kare for Kids Ride-In and BBQ Competition will be August 16th-18th, 2024, at the Ossipee Fairgrounds in Hiram, Maine. All net proceeds from this event directly benefit Shriner’s Children's programs in Boston and Springfield, MA. Shriner’s Children's® is a health care system dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and outstanding teaching programs for medical professionals. Children up to age 18 with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care and receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of the patients’ ability to pay. Friday evening: Shriners and Friends Parade followed by evening entertainment with Neil and Rita, Hillbilly Harmony. Mossy Ledge Spirits will be onsite all weekend providing premium cocktails for purchase. Open to the public.
Saturday: Scenic escorted Motorcycle Ride, led by the Widows Sons, ATV trail ride, led by Kora Shriners. All rides depart and return to the event site. There will be food vendors, a Kids Que, Mad Science/Kidz Zone, People's Choice sampling and voting, KCBS competition followed by a public rib auction, tractor pull and evening entertainment with The Parsonfield Music Project.
Sunday: there will be a KCBS BBQ Competition. BBQ competitors from across the country and Canada will be here to for prize money and points, and to support a great cause.
Ride Ticket: $25 for driver (no charge for passenger), includes one event t-shirt. Pre-register for the Ride by August 9th to guarantee shirt size. https://korashriners.org/koraridein/
Weekend camping is available; $30/night
The event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. Admission is $5.00 per person.
On-site registration and debit payment will be available for all activities.
