MTA celebrated its employees with an Employee Appreciation Cookout across all three shifts! Management fired up the grills and served hamburgers and brats as a thank-you to the hardworking team members who keep MTA moving forward. It was a beautiful day for a cookout, good food, and an opportunity to recognize our employees for all they do each day!

We’re excited to share that Metal Technologies has completed its acquisition of Rochester Metal Products. The Rochester, Indiana, facility will now operate as Metal Technologies Rochester.

Most importantly, we are proud to welcome more than 350 skilled employees to the MTI family. For nearly 90 years, generations of Rochester employees have built a strong reputation for quality, technical expertise, and customer service. We look forward to learning from our newest team members and building on the strong foundation they have created.

Rochester’s gray and ductile iron expertise and horizontal molding capabilities complement MTI’s existing operations. Together, we can provide customers with additional domestic capacity and greater manufacturing flexibility, supported by broader technical resources and stronger security of supply.

With this addition, MTI now employs more than 2,100 people and operates five foundries and two machining facilities across the United States and Mexico.
