Every AST feature starts with a real contractor problem. 🔧
Our butterfly valve was designed to make pump servicing easier — without draining the tank first. Less downtime, easier maintenance, right in the field.
50+ years of building equipment means listening to the people who use it every day.
Curious what other features came from contractor feedback? Call or text 253-833-4342. Let’s talk shop.

Ever had to shut down a job just to drain the tank before you could work on the pump? The butterfly valve on every AST rig lets you service the pump right on-site, mid-job, without draining anything first.

It's a small design choice that adds up to real time saved — especially when you're on a schedule and can't afford to lose half a day to a maintenance stop.

What's the one repair or maintenance task that eats up the most time on your machine? Tell us below, or call or text us at 253-833-4342 if you want to talk through what a lower-maintenance setup could look like for your crew.

Every rig we build starts with a real problem from a real job site — and the Kodiak M2 has one of our favorite origin stories.

Back in the late 1990s, a contractor came to us with a challenge: he needed the pumping power of a full-size texture rig, small enough to fly into Alaska backcountry villages that weren't reachable by road. Every machine that could do the job right was too big for the plane.

So our engineers rebuilt the idea from the ground up — the same rotor/stator pump as our big rigs, tool-free assembly, and light enough for one person to carry. Today the Kodiak M2 shows up everywhere from high-rise renovations to backcountry cabins.

We just published the full story on the blog, with a photo from a customer using their own Kodiak on a recent apartment job. Read it here: https://www.sprayrig.com/the-kodiak-origin-story-how-an-alaska-job-site-challenge-built-our-portable-flagship/

Have you put your Kodiak M2 to work somewhere unexpected? Tell us about it in the comments. 👇
