Sometimes you have to stop in the middle of the chaos and actually look around.
Nine years ago I was in a carport. In the rain. By myself. With an old Mazak mill.

That was the start.

The years since have been a mix of hard earned lessons, close calls, and wins beyond my wildest dreams. I learned most of it the hard way. Out of that I built a company that now does top-tier aerospace work.

The part I am proudest of is the team. We have put it together one person at a time. They are the best group I have ever worked with. The shop culture is the foundation of the shop.

Today I am blessed beyond anything I imagined back in that carport.

Grateful. Still hungry. Still building.

Everyone has to start somewhere. For me it was in my car port with a 30 year old mazak. It blows me away to see where we are today!

What a HUGE day for TNT Machine! We received 3 new machines today.

2 Mazak Quick Turn 250MY live tool lathes and 1 Okuma Genos M460V-5AX 5 Axis mill.

After the chaos of trying to run the shop and receive the machines today. I took a moment to take it all in and I am blown away!!!

I am beyond grateful for the people who have helped us get here and the customers who trust us to make exceptional parts for them.

Looking forward for what the future will bring.

The chalanges of running a business can be overwhelming at times. A few weeks ago I was so excited to be buying my first 5 axis mill. It shipped out on a nice air ride trailer tarpped up just how it should be.

Today it arrived at my riggers on a spring trailer that is very clearly over its weight limit, not tarped while it’s been raining for days and strapped over the top of the machine. 😣

Honestly I’m at a loss for words. How does this even happen??

I don’t quit, I’ll never quit. But sometimes things just suck!

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description:
We are a CNC machine shop located in Auburn, CA, looking for a skilled machinist who can set up and operate live tool lathes. The ideal candidate should have experience working with Mazak machines, as well as programming experience. As a CNC machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precision parts that meet the exact specifications of our customers.
Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate live tool lathes
* Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
* Program machines using G-Code and/or Mazatrol programming language
* Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment
* Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist
* Experience with Mazak machines preferred
* Proficient in G-Code programming and/or Mazak programming language
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Self-starter with a strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
