PJM held its annual recycling event at its Valley Forge campus today in recognition of of Earth Day. PJM staff brought old computers, printers, modems, televisions, small appliances, batteries, LED lightbulbs and tires for vendors to dispose of in a safe and sustainable manner.

PJM employees from its Corporate Client Services Division recently spent a day volunteering at Variety - the Children's Charity of the Delaware Valley, located in Worcester, Pennsylvania. Volunteers helped mulch beds around several building on the campus and raked leaves to help prepare the camp for the upcoming winter season.

Variety’s 77-acre property serves as the headquarters for a wide range of services to children and young adults with disabilities. The camp is open to participants with a multitude of diagnoses, including, but not limited to, autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, cognitive impairment, blindness, deafness and physical disabilities. Additionally, the organization supports more medically fragile participants and those with rare diagnoses, such as Prader-Willi syndrome, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy and individuals with traumatic brain injuries.

PJM’s Professional Networking Employee Resource Group recently invited a group of clean energy engineers from Constellation’s Limerick Generating Station to PJM’s Valley Forge campus to learn about the role of a grid operator.

PJM’s employee resource groups offer connection opportunities both in-person and virtually, helping to foster belonging and promote innovation.

Congratulations to PJM’s Nikki Militello, Manager – Interconnection Projects, who has been elected by the membership of WiNUP (Women's International Network of Utility Professionals) to the role of international president-elect/vice president and will serve on its Executive Committee beginning in 2026.
Nikki’s election as vice president means that she will automatically ascend to the office of president and CEO of the organization in 2027, representing the nearly 600 members and 21 chapters throughout the United States! WiNUP Past President Janet Rehberg installed her on Sept. 30 at the WiNUP Annual Business Meeting in Pittsburgh.
We know that Nikki will continue to work tirelessly to engage and empower her women colleagues at PJM and throughout the utility industry! ,
