The AEVIT 2.0 WL-Series utilizes a miniature digital wheel to control steering and a digital lever to control acceleration and braking. Both input devices require minimal effort and strength to operate. These controls allow the driver to drive directly from their wheelchair when equipped in a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.

These devices can also be disengaged to allow the vehicle to be driven with the factory controls.

We received a request through the Custom Design Program for a W-Series wheel orthotic with an activation switch. Our design engineer had to get creative as most of our activation orthotics incorporate a wire and the wheels require the orthotic to spin. The solution was to combine the Magnabox with a pin switch on a spinning mount!

Check out our catalog of custom orthotics or work alongside our design engineer to create your client's perfect fit! Call or email us today to learn more!

In vehicles, primary functions are anything that affects the motion of the vehicle and secondary functions are everything else. The AEVIT 2.0 System allows for the function activation point to be moved so that it is more accessible to the driver. This includes every secondary function in the vehicle. The Option A package includes the control of about every electrical function needed in the vehicle. The programmable auxiliaries within Option A enables the system to control the more "unique" secondary functions that the driver needs in their specific vehicle, allowing for deep customization.

This video covers common questions about how secondary functions are programmed within the AEVIT 2.0 System and how to utilize the programmable auxiliaries.
