Marcie plays a key role in supporting our projects through contract management, cost tracking, and negotiations—helping keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.

Outside of work, Marcie loves spending time with her husband and three kids—whether it’s a GreenJackets game, a trip for ice cream, or just enjoying the outdoors together.

Fun fact: She used to clog competitively and has a twin sister!

We’re continuing to refine leadership at Aurubis Richmond!

During our bi-monthly Lead & Feed sessions held June 8–10, leaders across all levels came together for learning, collaboration, and connection. These sessions are designed to strengthen our leadership team through shared knowledge, policy review, and open dialogue.

This month, we reviewed our new Emergency Transportation Voucher Program, which provides employees with up to two Uber vouchers per calendar year to support a round-trip commute when unexpected transportation challenges arise.

A special thank you to Mike Cosola, HSE Manager, for preparing and leading an impactful training session on Emergency Response at Aurubis Richmond—reinforcing our strong commitment to safety and preparedness.

As always, leaders enjoyed a catered meal while learning, communicating, networking, and building stronger relationships across the site.

🚒 Supporting Safety in Our Community 🚒

Aurubis Richmond is proud to support the Augusta Fire Department by donating a Fire Extinguisher Simulator—helping bring hands-on fire safety training to the Augusta community.

According to a recent letter from Division Chief James Perkins, Fire Marshal, this simulator marks an important milestone as the first of its kind in the area, expanding opportunities for community outreach, fire safety education, and real-world training experiences.

This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to safety—not just within our operations, but across the communities where we live and work.

We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the Augusta Fire Department and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact together.

Book Bash Success at Aurubis Richmond

In celebration of Aurubis’ 160th birthday, our Richmond team set a goal to collect 160 books for our community—and we’re excited to share that we exceeded it! 🎉

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our employees, we proudly collected 163 books, each one marked with a special Aurubis 160th anniversary sticker to commemorate this milestone.

Yesterday, Sherrie Bishop delivered all 163 books to United Way of the CSRA, helping support local families and promote literacy in our community.

Aurubis Richmond was honored to sponsor and participate in the American Red Cross Boot Scoot Boogie Bash, a special event dedicated to supporting disaster relief efforts across our communities.

Held in Augusta, this one-night celebration brings people together to make a meaningful impact—helping the Red Cross continue its mission of preventing and alleviating human suffering during emergencies and times of need.

We’re especially proud of our employees who took part in the evening, showing their commitment to giving back and supporting those affected by disasters, home fires, and other critical situations. Their participation reflects the strong sense of community and compassion that defines Aurubis Richmond.
