Roanoke Cooperative has been thoughtfully developing a convenient, affordable way to help member-owners add another layer of protection against unexpected electrical surges.

Beginning September 1, member-owners can enroll in Connection Protection, our new whole-home surge protection program. Professionally installed at your electric meter, the device helps protect appliances, electronics and other valuable equipment throughout your home.

šŸŽ‰ Roanoke Cooperativeā€™s 87th Annual Meeting was a successā€”and now weā€™re enjoying one of our favorite parts: celebrating our prize winners!

Because so many of our conversations with member-owners happen over the phone, it is always wonderful to welcome them to our office, put faces with names and capture a photo with members of our team. šŸ“øšŸŽ We love seeing the smiles as our winners pick up their prizes! Their smiles say it all! šŸ˜„šŸŽ

During the meeting, Columbus Jeffers (District 1), Robert ā€œBrianā€ Savage (District 5) and Cynthia Vaughan (District 9) were elected to continue serving on Roanoke Cooperativeā€™s Board of Directors for the next three years.

āš ļø OUTAGE ALERT ā€” RODUCO SUBSTATION

We are currently experiencing an outage affecting member-owners served by our Roduco substation. The interruption is due to an issue on Dominion Energyā€™s transmission system, which supplies power to the substation.

Dominion crews are patrolling the line to locate the cause, and a Roanoke Cooperative service technician is assisting with their efforts. At this time, an estimated restoration time is not available.

We understand the inconvenience this causes and we are doing our best to assist in the outage restoration. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
