This past Saturday, we had the honor of attending the HCC - Hispanic Contractors of Colorado Annual Awards Gala, presented by HENSEL PHELPS —what an incredible evening!

The Smoky Hill Engineering LLC team enjoyed reconnecting with many of our industry partners and friends. We were proud to share a table with our colleagues from HFS Joint Venture, Construction, Maxx Impact Group, and CMTS LLC.

The Denver International Airport (DEN), Denver, CO, Center of Equity and Excellence in Aviation (CEEA) is officially open! It was an honor to celebrate this milestone alongside Denver Mayor Mike Johnston and DEN CEO Phil Washington, whose vision is transforming the Jeppesen Terminal into a hub for workforce opportunity.

Congratulations to Sky Blue Builders, LLC, and HENSEL PHELPS on a fantastic build, and a special thanks to Studio Completiva, Inc. and Stantec for their partnership during the design process.

Smoky Hill Engineering was proud to serve as the Structural Engineer of Record for this landmark project. We’re thrilled to provide the structural engineering for a space that will empower the next generation of aviation professionals!
