Real world lesson for those that want to do electrical diagnostics: Always make sure to have a good battery and/or DC constant power source. (Not a battery charger, a battery maintainer)

If the battery is too drained, a jump box or charger won't cut it and may lead you down the wrong rabbit hole. This client/shop is getting rescheduled to the next available opening for this no crank-no start verification.

For customers - be ready to start with a battery, it's not just for you and the car, it's also for the technician to properly diagnose and avoid quoting you the wrong part.

Unplugging the faulty sensor, I find my 5 volts needed for the vehicle to operate. I unplug and plug in the sensor simultaneously so the 5 volts comes and goes when unplugged.

5 volt reference DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes) first thing first I had to verify my reference points (multiple sensors). Found it interesting - I suspected a bad ECM at first but at some points I noticed some voltage (about 1 volt) at some sensors. I'm probed at the ECM (engine control module) to do my checks since everything is there. Unplugging connector x2 I gain my 5 volts. Watch what happens when I isolate the faulty sensor.
