The 2026 Central Texas-Korea Summit sponsored by the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce, Taylor Chamber of Commerce and Hutto Area Chamber was a success! Our President Bonyoung Koo presented on Samsung & Central Texas: Past, Present and Future.

The summit featured insights from numerous expert guest speakers and featured keynote addresses from the Honorable Kyung-eun Lee Republic of Korean Consulate General and Williamson County Judge Steve Snell.

Discussions focused on cross-border business opportunities, regional economic development and the continued growth of the Korean business community in the region. We are proud to be a part of this vibrant partnership and to grow alongside our Central Texas neighbors.

Inspiring the next generation! 👩‍🔬✨

During the summer, we hosted Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area and Girlstart students for an exclusive tour of our Austin campus. The students got the opportunity to hear from employees about their role and how they got started in the industry.

It was incredible to see their curiosity as they explored potential career paths and imagine a future in STEM!

We have a big start right out the gate with visits to UT, Texas A&M and UIUC Sept. 9-10.

At several of these locations, our sister company Samsung Austin Research Center will also be in attendance.

Our Customer Quality Engineering (CQE) team spent time volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul, helping prepare nearly 1,500 boxes of nutritious food for those in need.

Our community partner, Central Texas Food Bank works with St. Vincent to provide the food.
