It’s summer in Taylor which can only mean one thing for us: 24 Taylor ISD interns are here!

The interns are past their first day jitters and will settle into the internship for the summer.

From Diffusion to Quality & Reliability, our interns will be learning from the best and afforded the opportunity to work for a global company in their hometown.

During their paid internship, students will also have dedicated volunteer time to beautify Murphy Park ahead of the Fourth of July celebration and help at Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry.

These actioned-packed six weeks will fly by! 🦆🦆

: As AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, automotive intelligence, and edge systems continue to evolve, advanced packaging will play an increasingly central role in defining semiconductor performance.

Advanced packaging has moved far beyond its traditional role as a backend assembly step. It has evolved into a critical architectural layer shaping how next-generation computing systems are designed and optimized.

Every era of computing is defined by the infrastructure that makes it possible.

Nothing builds team spirit quite like a good old-fashioned Field Day!

🏁 Our employees competed in sack races, 🎈 balloon tosses, relays and more.

The competition (albeit friendly) was fierce, the laughs abundant and the sweat was plentiful. 🥵

Thank you to our employee resource groups for hosting and a big 👏 to everyone who brought their enthusiasm and team spirit!

Take a look back at all the fun.

Samsung Austin Semiconductor and our parent company Samsung Electronics have invested nearly $6 million in The University of Texas at Austin since 2023, funding research, undergraduate and graduate student support, capstone projects and related facilities.

As the advanced semiconductor manufacturing industry grows in Central Texas, is is imperative that we work with educational partners such as UT and invest in various career pathways for a skilled workforce.

Ten-state network will connect employers, educators and workforce partners to build talent pipelines across America's most semiconductor-dense region.

: Being a good neighbor means taking care of the community around us. In Taylor, our employees recently volunteered to clean up CR 401 -- one piece of trash at a time! 🗑️

We collected 280 pounds of litter and recyclables!

Thank you to our neighbors, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Taylor, for coordinating parking with us.
