We couldn’t be more excited to be the selected architect for a new community hub for design in downtown. Design Austin will be a 4,500sf public gathering place, exhibition space and event venue for all things design and architecture-related, and the new HQ for AIA Austin. Located in a historic 1920s building, originally built as a commercial printworks, the project is the result of the collective vision and hard work of many dedicated members of Austin’s design community. We’re looking forward to sharing more about the project origins, design vision and trajectory at today’s Design Excellence conference - and thank you to Austin Monthly for starting to spread the word about it in this month’s fall edition!
