ROCKHEADS NEWS | Industry Update

On July 31, 2026, the White House issued a final Section 201 proclamation establishing a four-year tariff-rate quota on covered imported quartz surface products.

Beginning August 15, 2026, at 12:01 a.m. ET

The duties are cumulative and may be added to normal duties, antidumping duties, countervailing duties, and other applicable charges.

Country of origin and entry date will be important. Members should confirm supplier pricing, applicable duties, and contract terms before shipments enter the United States.
