We are a student-run amateur rocketry group at the University of Texas at Austin. Because it's only rocket science.

We are the Longhorn Rocketry Association, a group of UT Austin students committed to competing in national rocketry competitions and representing our university on the national stage! Our mission is to enhance undergraduate education by applying classroom knowledge to design, build, and launch our own rockets.

Our Outreach team strikes again with another fun, engaging opportunity to spread hands-on knowledge to the world's future scientists and engineers! 💥

Last Saturday, a few LRA members went up to the Meridian World School to educate their students and parents over topics in rocketry. Needless to say, it was a blast for everyone involved 🚀

First Outreach event of the semester done ✅️

Last week, January 30th, some of our LRA members went out to Galindo Elementary School's annual Science Night! Here, we taught kids basic rocket science 🚀

Did we just inspire the next generation of engineers? Only time will tell! ⏳️

Holiday Potluck Recap 🎄

Last week, our members came together for a festive evening full of delicious homemade dishes, fun conversations, and friendly competition! 🍽️

From sharing food to playing a spirited game of Jeopardy, it was an amazing way to celebrate the season and wrap up the semester. 🎁
