Ask Connor Frischmeyer, our Head of Finance, why Moxi The Robot matters, and he starts with nurse staffing.

A 2002 JAMA study found that each additional patient on a nurse's assignment was linked to a 7% increase in the odds of patient death and a 23% increase in the odds of nurse burnout. Staffing ratios show up in patient outcomes, in turnover, and in hospital budgets, with the potential to save billions of dollars a year across the US.
Hospitals can't hire their way out of a shortage overnight, but they can find efficiencies in how clinical teams use their time and talents. Moxi's time is spent making and receiving deliveries, which is why Connor sees healthcare as one of the most important places for robots to prove themselves.
Before Diligent, Connor worked in M&A investment banking and later ran a CFO consulting firm for venture-backed companies. He knows a strong business case when he sees one.
