Marathon kayak work day on the marathon kayak, on this ice/snow/freeze day. This yak is realy takinh shape now. I learned many lessons while building the bottom side, so the top side is flying by. Im hoping to button it up with one more evening work session if early a morning early one. The anticipation to float and paddle this boat is very high.

Sunday fun 🤩 day afternoon fun work. First coat 🧥 of epoxy on the kayak and 3rd coat of black in the new sequoia bumper. Bumper install tomorrow and I will begin layering carbon/kevlar fabric up on the kayak 🤗. I can’t wait to see how fast i can push this kayak.

Long time since my last post, I’m doing excellent, over two and a half years post heart transplant ❤️‍🩹. We’ve been busy remodeling our padre island 🏝️ house for the last year but winding down and I’m getting ball rolling again, back to work with my new focus of home inspection. I will be doing some select work and general contracting but will be making my main focus inspection, slowing down and enjoying life more.

Today our sequoia will be losing its big butt, I’m starting to fabricate a custom rear bumper and swing gate designed and prepared kit from Coastal Off-road .
