We’re kicking off ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Month with exciting updates to EEA’s Officer team! We’re celebrating two Employee Owners stepping into new officer roles, John Makar and Arvind Viswanath, along with Morgan Stinson’s transition from Chief Operating Officer to Chief Growth Officer, bringing a dedicated focus to EEA’s continued growth.

Earlier this month, EEA had the honor to attend and celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new CNM Film Studio at the Albuquerque Rail Yards. This adaptive reuse project transformed the historic Boiler Shop into a space for education and media production through a collaboration between the City of Albuquerque, CNM Film Program, and New Mexico Media Arts Collective (MAC). What an exciting and distinct project for this city and state!

We’re grateful to have been part of the team bringing new life and purpose to this historic space as part of the broader revitalization of the Rail Yards.

Exciting changes ahead for EEA!

We are pleased to announce that Jeremy Smith will transition to the role of Chief Executive Officer beginning in September.

As our Chief Technical Officer, Jeremy has introduced several programs, focusing on expanding EEA’s technical knowledge and skills. Now as CEO, his focus will remain on keeping our legacy of design excellence while maintaining a culture of collaboration with a growth mindset.

Jeremy succeeds Todd Schmitt, who is transitioning out of the CEO role after eight years of dedicated leadership. Todd’s leadership helped expand EEA’s market presence and strengthen its position as a leading engineering consulting firm. Todd will remain at EEA in an advisory role and assisting with select projects.
