With winter weather and temperatures at or below 32 degrees, heat pumps get to the point where they will run continuously, gradually heating your home to stay close to the set point. To make sure your system is operating efficiently, check and change filters as needed. Also, check that supply registers are not blocked. You may need to check the outside unit for defrost and ice buildup. If you have ice buildup on your unit, switch to EM heat until repairs can be made.
