Big win for sustainability—and it started with an employee idea!
At our Bendix Acuña site, a Sustainability Innovation Award–winning project is already up and running, reducing fresh water use in the Metal Finishing Line by up to 60% through a new secondary wastewater treatment system.
In a region facing growing water scarcity, this project helps protect a critical resource while supporting operations.

What a week! Bendix Huntington Employee Appreciation Week was full of fun, great food, and team spirit from start to finish. From Spirit Week outfits and snacks to the Corn Hole Tournament and extended cookout lunches, it was awesome to see everyone come together and celebrate. Thank you to our leadership team for serving up a fantastic lunch and to everyone who joined in and made it such a great time. We truly have an amazing team here in Huntington—this week was all about celebrating you!

Bendix Avon showed up in a big way. Thank you to everyone who supported our Second Harvest Food Bank drive. Together, we have made a meaningful impact on our community.
Here’s what we achieved:
• 390 lbs. of donated food, providing 325 meals
• $9,679.31 raised (including a $500 check)
• A total of 58,401 meals for local families
We not only met but exceeded our goal of 50,000 meals.
Every donation helped support families in need, and this incredible result reflects the generosity and spirit of our Avon team. Thank you for being part of it.

A special thank-you to our guest speaker from UH for sharing practical tips on “Healthy Eating for Real Life”—and helping us all think a little differently about everyday choices.

Giving back, together. Bendix employees joined community volunteers on May 16 at the Elyria Public Library System to help clean up the community garden —an event organized by Our F.A.M.I.L.Y. (Fathers and Mothers Involved in Local Youth).
From pulling weeds to clearing debris, the team worked alongside LCCAA Lorain County Community Action Agency and Lorain County Urban League to refresh this shared space.
