🚧 Breaking New Ground at Rem-Tech! 🚧
This marks an exciting milestone for Rem-Tech as we break ground on a major expansion project! 🏗️ We’re adding 19,500 sq/ft to our existing 14,000 sq/ft machine shop, which will significantly increase our capacity and improve our workflow. By bringing our thermal spray team under the same roof as the machine shop, we’re streamlining operations and enhancing our ability to deliver world-class service to our customers.

Here are small thin-walled Titanium sleeves. These are challenging little parts to make, especially when made in our Haas TL1s. These entry-level little machines have found their place in our shop as a great training tool. Many of our new apprentices start on them and have made many great machine operators.

As a custom machine shop, we find off-the-shelf solutions don't easily fix many problems. Cost, supply, and lead times can all get in the way of getting parts out the door on time. Most of our machines have a six-jaw chuck, and it only made sense to find a way to make our own jaws. So we did and have gotten great at it.

Nice looking bearing housing machined out of 316ss. Stress in the material is one of the hardest things to deal with when making parts like this. Patience and experience is what's needed.

Some jobs are for learning, and that's what these were. We made these out of hardened 4140 in our dual spindle Okumas. Great-looking parts outside our comfort zone, but we got it dialled in.

Clearance is Clearance! Some ID grinding of Tungsten Carbide coating inside of a face groove. These are CA40 (cast 420ss) casing wear rings. Completely machined, coated with tungsten carbide, and finish ground here at Rem-Tech.
