AWE: Empowering Women in STEM

AWE: Empowering Women in STEM AWE is a networking and professional/personal
development membership group created for Kern County women in STEM professions.

AWE is a safe and productive environment within which members may build relationships with one another and gain knowledge about their industry and community. AWE Members attend monthly luncheons where they share knowledge about their field, and
enjoy presentations by community leaders who educate them about key energy innovations,
legislative challenges, non‐profit activities, and women’s issues.

AWE also hosts evening events at great local venues, offering members the opportunity to
network in a relaxed, informal environment.
