🚨 LABOR DAY EMERGENCY CALL OUT! 🚨

Today’s emergency call was a clogged condensate drain line that had water backing up into the drain pan. We stepped in, cleared the drain line, cleaned out the drain pan, and got this system back up and running! 💪🔧

While we were there, we also noticed this unit is definitely due for some much-needed TLC. We got the customer scheduled to have us come back during normal business hours to give the system the attention it deserves and help prevent another headache down the road.

Our office will be closed Monday, September 7th for Labor Day. Our crew is taking the day to rest up with family.

Weekend call — and a win for the customer 🔧

Got called out this weekend to a system that just wasn’t cooling. Pulled the panel and found an evaporator coil packed solid — no air was moving through it.

That meant a full pull and clean. Coil came out, got washed down, and went back in.

But after reinstalling, the system still wasn’t holding. We had a leak somewhere. Took our crew almost an hour to chase it down because it was barely leaking — the kind that hides from you. Finally found a pinhole in the coil.

We took the risk and made the call to solder it. Not the prettiest joint we’ve ever laid, but it held pressure, it passed, and that system is back up and cooling.

Return air 74.3° / Supply 57.0° — a 17.3° split. That’s a system doing its job again.

Now let’s be straight with y’all, because that’s how we operate: this is not a permanent fix. That coil is going to need replaced eventually. But this buys our customer time — hopefully enough to get through the rest of summer without a big surprise expense in the middle of the heat.

Sometimes the right call isn’t the biggest ticket. It’s the one that gets a family cool tonight and lets them plan on their own terms.

Some weeks you ease into. This ain’t one of ’em. 😅

Rooftop Trane with a rotor-locked compressor — changed out. A handful of bad capacitors and a dead fan motor — handled. Walk-in cooler down on a bad solenoid valve — back to temp before the product walked.

And it’s only Wednesday.

🔥❄️ PHASE 1 COMPLETE! ❄️🔥

Big day out on this remodel — a house that has never had central air or heat is finally getting the real deal!

We installed a complete 3.5 ton AirTemp system with 10kW electric heat. All new. Everything. Air handler, condenser, line set, and a full ductwork system — top to bottom, nothing recycled.

That attic was a tight squeeze, but we got the unit set and every run of ductwork installed and dialed in. 💪

And here’s the best part for the homeowner: 10 year parts warranty on the system, backed by a matching 10 year labor warranty from us. A decade of coverage, no surprises. They’re also signing up for one of our maintenance plans to keep it running right for the long haul. 👏

Phase 1 is in the books. We’ll be back in about a month for the next phase — tying in the condensate drains once the plumber wraps up, and setting all the registers after the sheetrock goes up.

Nothing better than watching an old house get modern comfort for the very first time. 🏠
