In the wake of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Chesapeake Limulabs would like to thank all of the courageous healthcare workers and volunteers on the front lines working tirelessly to ensure the safety of our communities in Maryland.

This week, our Director of Scientific Operations, Barney Ben Woodard, dropped off our laboratory supply of personal protective equipment and disinfectants to Anne Arundel Medical Center in a joint donation with the University of Maryland's Biotechnology Research & Education Program (BREP). The donation includes over 3000 pairs of gloves, 500 disposable scrubs and lab coats, masks, protective sleeves & head covers, ethanol solution, and virucidal disinfectants.

We hope that these supplies provide some measure of relief to the doctors, nurses, staff, and all other personnel who sacrifice their own safety on a daily basis to tend to our healthcare needs.
