Assisting one of our subdivision HOA clients today with stormwater pond maintenance! Sediment forbays were full and lots of algae in the summer.

To address the issues ESDA surveyed pond and forbay depths, prepared maintenance plans and cost estimate, coordinated with contractors, and is providing construction oversight. ESDA called in Andrew Der to assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting algae problems in the ponds. ESDA designed the maintenance plan with Andrew Der's recommendations in mind to minimize algae build-up in the future.

Another awesome dam decommisioning inspection last week on Purple Line. There's nothing like heavy construction. That piece of pipe weighs about 8 tons.

ESDA was on site today at the new Middle Branch Wellness Center in Cherry Hill as a guest for a punch list walk through. Our role in the Baltimore City Parks and Rec project was "DPW Permit Expediter" meaning we reviewed Stormwater Management and Sediment and Erosion Control plans prepared by GWWO (architect) and MK Consulting (site/ civil engineer) as an extension of DPW's staff, to make sure the plans meet permit requirements. With our expertise we help shorten permit turn around times and advise our clients about permitting pitfalls! Thanks to MK Engineering for the invite today.
