Construction Project Manager Wanted

Job Description:
guerilla/construction has an immediate opening for a full-time project supervisor. The project supervisor is responsible for the management of various building projects, ranging from single-family remodeling to ground-up construction of custom homes. As the project lead in the field, you will direct and coordinate the day-to-day management of jobs, subcontractors, and vendors as well as assist with plans, estimates, organization, and oversight of each stage of construction. In addition to carrying out quality inspections and supervision of subcontractors and staff, you will also serve as the primary communicator between the field and guerilla offices. guerilla/construction and its sister companies are dedicated to a high standard of work driven by a mission to deliver clever, cool, and creative real estate experiences. We take on challenging projects. By providing clear and organized communication between the field and the office, you will help guerilla maintain our high standards of building unique, thoughtful, and intentional spaces - while balancing against the practical requirements and technical/budgetary limitations of the site, end-user, and appraisals. In addition to providing on-site supervision, the project supervisor will also provide technical input throughout the planning and review process. The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, and ready to take on the variety of responsibilities and opportunities that come with working for a small but growing company. As the job entails evaluating and managing a variety of subcontractors, a broad range of construction knowledge and experience is required, as well as an ability to read and amend construction drawings.

Project Supervisor Job Duties:
- Manages subcontractors - must have stellar communication skills to maintain a clear and consistent flow of information between all team members.
- Establishes benchmarks to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Identifies opportunities to improve project management systems.
- Assists in defining project purpose and scope, calculating required resources, and managing change orders.
- Keeps jobs on budget by monitoring expenditures.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

Construction Supervisor Skills and Qualifications:
Project Management, Quality Management, Supervision, Financial Estimating & Review, Delegation, Supply Management, ADA Requirements, Attention to Detail.

Carpenter (Lead) Wanted

Job Description:
guerilla/construction/development is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team - working from frame to finish on a wide variety of projects. Following a modern design aesthetic and detail oriented planning process we are currently involved in everything from high-end renovations to new-construction of single family homes and apartment buildings. Due to Covid-19, the first phase of the interview process will be online.

Job Requirements:
- Residential remodeling experience, commercial experience a bonus.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Team player
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle - truck or van preferred.
- Creative problem-solving abilities

Experience Requirements:
Carpentry: 2 years (preferred) Finish Carpentry: 2 years (preferred)Should have knowledge of joinery, molding, and trim ( mantels, baseboards, door and window casing, built-in shelving, etc). Pay will be determined based on ability and experience. Who we are guerilla’s projects range from major renovations to architect-designed new construction homes and buildings. The ideal candidate will be excited at the prospect of taking on a large role in a small but growing company. Due to the evolving nature of our business, the candidate should also be flexible and open to growth. guerilla/construction/development is seeking a carpenter’s helper to join our team. Assisting one of our lead carpenters, you will be working from frame to finish on a wide variety of projects. Following a modern design aesthetic and detail-oriented planning process we are currently involved in everything from high-end renovations to new-construction of single-family homes and apartment buildings. Due to Covid-19, the first phase of the interview process will be online. Pay will be
determined based on experience and ability.

Job Requirements:
- Residential remodeling experience preferred commercial experience a bonus.
- Passion for the craft and continued learning.
- Team player
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle - truck or van preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under lead carpenter.
- Interest and enthusiasm for growing into higher-level roles and improving your craft.

Experience Requirements:
Carpentry: 1-year Finish Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)Should have some knowledge and a deep interest in learning more about carpentry and modern construction. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that wants to learn and mature into higher-level roles within our company. guerilla’s projects range from major renovations to architect-designed new construction homes and buildings.
