Filling Austin's shoes and mine (to be honest) has been a tough challenge. We weren’t sure we were ready to move forward; however, after thoughtful consideration, we realize this is what he would want.

We are excited to welcome Danica Smith Zach Pederson and Stephanie Freitag to our family business! Their determination to show up each day, along with their warm smiles, are truly valued. We know they will help us continue to thrive in Austin’s honor.

As many of you know, the past few months have been the most challenging period of our lives following the loss of our beloved son, Austin, on Christmas Eve.

Austin was the main inspiration behind By the Sea Home & Gardens. He was the type of person who, even in times of adversity, always rose above challenges and found a way through. As we continue to build and grow, we do so in his memory, embracing that same spirit of resilience. With every project we complete, we carry Austin’s spirit with us, determined to face our own challenges head-on.

Our goal is to create spaces that reflect the love and joy he brought into so many lives and to honor him through the beauty we cultivate.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Your support means the world to us, and we are committed to making Austin proud as we move forward together.

Today, our team had the privilege of coming together to support our local heroes by assisting with much-needed maintenance at the VFW Frank C High Medal of Honor Post 3440 Bandon in preparation for the upcoming 4th of July celebration. 🇺🇸
