We have been working on a project in Vernonia for about 6 months now. For the most part Vernonia is a great place to work. The people are very friendly and helpful. Very neat community. However, we’ve had a very consistent rash of theft. Fuel, tools, extension cords, etc. It has now evolved to vandalism. The local police have been notified repeatedly. It seems like they have a pretty good idea who the culprits are yet can’t do much about if they don’t have proof. I hate thieves. There is no excuse I will accept for theft. A community as great as Vernonia shouldn’t tolerate it either.

The guys in Vernonia and kicking butt! Installed a 35 foot deep wet well, built a pump station, 3200 feet of pressure sewer, stream diversion and enhancement of Rock Creek, new bridge over Bear Creek and repaved Adams Avenue! Now we just need to finish installing 4400 feet of gravity sewer through town and we will call it a day!
