Let me tell you.

I wasn’t ready for what it did to me when I looked at it.

This right here is my REASON for everything!

Every sacrifice I’ve made since 2014.

Every risk.

Every late night.

Every time I got knocked down and still got up because quitting wasn’t an option… it all comes back to her.

This is the woman who survived cancer.

This is the woman who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself.

This is the woman who trusted me when I rebuilt our entire life from nothing.

This is the woman who gave me purpose again when the world felt like it was falling apart.

And now she’s out here with me, not as someone I’m trying to protect, heal, or save…but as my partner.

My equal.
My teammate.
My why.

This picture is more than a cute work selfie.

It’s a reminder of where we’ve been…

And a promise of where we’re going.

I don’t take a single day of this for granted.

Not her.

Not this life we rebuilt.
