Throwback to this gorgeous remodel we completed in 2019 in Collinsville, CT. We love the mint green color selected for the kitchen cabinetry that perfectly ties together the Bertazzoni gas range, farmhouse sink, and quartz countertops. 😍

We were thrilled to be a part of this meticulous renovation of a Palm Beach home, originally built in 1925 and designed by renowned architectural firm Volk and Maass. ⁣
⁣
Using Spanish cedar to create custom hand joinery doors and kitchen cabinets, we were able to seamlessly blend the Mediterranean and Spanish influences that are evident throughout the home with millwork that has reimagined the space for entertaining and comfort. ⁣
⁣
This beautiful project was the recipient of the 2018 Polly Earl Award and the 2018 Addison Mizner Award. These award programs recognize property owners for the restoration or rehabilitation of a landmarked property integral to the charming neighborhoods of Palm Beach and celebrates the achievement of the finest practitioners in the fields of Architecture, Interior Design Landscape architecture, Urbanism as well as Craftsmanship and Construction. @ Palm Beach Island

Following a trend of new hospitality projects opening as a result of New Haven, CT's burgeoning tech scene, HVS Design and Alexander Waterworth Interiors collaborated on a new hotel steps away from Yale University. Opened in January and named for the university's first female graduate, Alice Blake, the Blake Hotel fits the bill for contemporary boutique accommodation options now in high demand. The firms teamed up to create a design and culinary-focused hospitality space with extended stays in mind. The lobby-adjacent restaurant Hamilton Park, offers an interplay of raw and industrial materials, incorporating dark woods, leather, and steel, evoking the elevated dining scene of New York City. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
