What does Befesa Barnwell do? 🤔

We recycle large amounts of hazardous waste each day. By recycling this material safely and sufficiently, it helps keep this material out of landfills. Once it goes through our system, it can be used again in a new way. ♻️

Today is Global Recycling Day, and every year we are proud to recycle roughly around 150 tons! ♻️

Not only does recycling conserve energy, reduce air and water pollution, reduce greenhouse gases, and conserve natural resources, but it also helps keep the Earth healthy.

As a plant engineer, you would be responsible for preserving and improving Facilities and Mechanical Infrastructure. As well as managing Fabrication, Construction, and Mechanical Installations for the plant while making notes of changes for machines, equipment, components, and drawing/document control. The optimization of equipment performance and reliability, including support in troubleshooting and problem-solving operational issues, is a key task in this job.

Maintaining and troubleshooting various types of preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks in accordance with facility operations in a safe, efficient, and optimal manner is the responsibility of a Maintenance Service Tech. A thorough understanding of conveyor systems, bag houses, pneumatic transfer systems, vacuum systems, welding, pumps, and compressed air systems. It is a plus if you have experience in fabrication/welding, railcar welding, and repairs.

As an Electrical Engineer, you would be responsible for the reliability and updating of the Facility's Electrical and Communications infrastructure. As well as managing major repairs to existing systems and new installations, integrating of sensible technology into our processes, and providing support in troubleshooting issues. While also the management of Change for Motor Control Centers, PLCs, HMI and Servers and Single Line, PI&D, Control Programs, and Software.
