Memorials crafted by our BGA artisans honoring our country's servicemen and women are found around the world. One of these is the 'Vietnam Helicopter Pilot and Crewmember Monument' at Arlington National Cemetery. It honors the nearly 5,000 helicopter pilots and crewmembers who lost their lives conducting aerial operations in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. There is a definite attention to detail that was used when designing and crafting the La Porte family memorial for Thomas Meloro & Son of North Arlington, NJ. This all steeled memorial, with special cut top, flutes on each end of the memorial, the deep ornate carved band across the top and the rustic hand rock pitched base are all a testament to the careful craftsmanship utilized on this memorial.
