Years ago, Swiss Automation, Inc. donated a Swiss CNC machine to Elgin Community College's (ECC) Industrial Manufacturing Program in efforts to support and contribute to hands-on manufacturing training and education. That first machine helped inspire the expansion of ECC's operations to ultimately develop their new state-of-the-art Manufacturing and Technology Center!

Today, we're proud to continue those efforts by donating additional M16 and K16 machines to ECC, helping support the development of the next generation of skilled manufacturing professionals.

Seeing these machines leave our facility and make their way into ECC's newly renovated expansion is a powerful reminder of what can happen when industry and education work together.

Congratulations to ECC on this incredible new facility and on the start of another school year! We're excited to see the opportunities this space will create for your students and the future of manufacturing.

We had a great time hosting Jacobs High School and South Elgin High School. It's always great to see the next generation taking an interest in manufacturing and precision machining. Your curiosity and energy made the day a lot of fun!
