This November, I'm trading the clean shave for something that matters a lot more than how I look. π¨
I'm participating in Movember β growing a mustache to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and su***de prevention.
This one is personal.
I lost my son to su***de. There is no way to prepare for that kind of loss, and no words that fully describe what it takes from you. What I do know is that too many men suffer in silence β and too many families are left with a pain that never fully goes away.
In the construction world, we don't talk about this stuff. We work hard, we push through, and we keep it inside. That culture has a cost β and I've felt that cost in the most devastating way possible.
If this post reaches even one person who is struggling, or one person who knows someone who is β please know that asking for help is not weakness. It's the hardest and bravest thing you can do.
And if you're able to support the cause financially, every dollar funds real research and real programs that help men before it's too late.

For my son. For every son, father, brother, and friend we've lost. Let's do better. π
Movember, the month formerly known as November, is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health.
