Project highlight: Pilot House Rebuild

In the shots below you can see a recent job our team completed to rebuild a 14’x10’ pilot house for a 38 ft luxury yacht. Key features of this project was a rebuild of the inner skin and added structural core, as well as an outer skin with a built-in rooftop fl**ge.

Our customer wanted the pilot house structurally sound with a smooth preparation, ready for a final gel-coat finishing.

Project Highlight: Liner Bonding on a Yacht Rooftop

In the photos below you can see a recent project our team completed a new liner bonding for a 43’ yacht rooftop using our vacuum infusion progress with fiberglass and vinylester resin.

Composite rooftops for boats provide both strong and lightweight joints and the liner ensures a seamless bond that maintains the structural integrity of the roof and prevents water from leaking through.

Project Highlight: Keelson repair

Here you can see our team member Christian is cutting away the old wooden Keelson. A Keelson is used to strengthen the hull and support the load of the keel.

Over time these will rot out and need to be replaced. We had to reinstall a hardwood to have it in spec from the original drawings.

We used a piece of mahogany installed with fiberglass and epoxy resin
