La Terre is proud to be the design firm for this project!!

Construction is underway on LA 398 that connects LA 1 to LA 662 in Assumption Parish. As work progresses, this project will provide a smoother, more dependable route for the local community. The project will also support long-term transportation needs for the area’s agricultural industry, providing a more reliable system for the heart of Louisiana’s “Sugar Bowl.”

The project is roughly 50% complete and expected to be finalized by Fall 2026.
