Louisiana’s energy advantage is creating new opportunities for the future.

Laura Beauchamp, Vice President of Business Operations and Strategy at Entergy Louisiana, joined the Louisiana Policy Lab for a conversation focused on an important question: Can Louisiana become America’s energy and AI capital?

As demand for reliable, affordable energy continues to grow alongside investments in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies, Louisiana is uniquely positioned to leverage its energy resources, infrastructure and workforce to drive economic growth and innovation.

We’re proud to be part of the conversation about how Louisiana can power what’s next. ⚡️

The first dollars attributed to our data center corridor have begun to positively impact customer bills under our Fair Share Plus pledge.

In Mississippi, our customers are set to begin seeing direct benefits this month thanks to Amazon's revenue contributions to the Mississippi grid, which helped eliminate a nearly $5 per month bill increase for all residential customers.

And there are additional benefits ahead for our customers in Arkansas and Louisiana, as data center projects there come online.

Keeping cool, connected and cared for. ☀️💙

Beat the Heat is about more than staying cool, it’s about making sure our customers have the resources they need to stay safe and comfortable all summer long.

Entergy Louisiana joined the Assumption Parish Council on Aging for a community fan giveaway, where our team connected with attendees, shared information about affordability resources and Entergy Solutions programs, and personally delivered fans to several homebound customers.

Thank you to the Council on Aging for helping us bring this effort directly into the community. Together, we’re helping Louisiana neighbors beat the heat, one fan and one conversation at a time.

A little relief can go a long way. ☀️💙

Through our Beat the Heat initiative, we provided a grant to the Pointe Coupee Parish Council on Aging to help local seniors stay cool and comfortable during Louisiana’s summer heat.

Supporting our communities means looking out for our neighbors, especially when temperatures rise. We’re grateful for the work of the Pointe Coupee Parish Council on Aging and their continued commitment to the seniors they serve.

Understanding the challenges is the first step toward making a difference.

Entergy and United Way of Southeast Louisiana recently hosted a poverty simulation that gave about 140 participants a firsthand look at the difficult choices and barriers vulnerable families face every day.

By stepping into real-world scenarios involving housing, childcare, transportation, employment and unexpected expenses, participants gained a deeper understanding of the challenges facing ALICE households and the importance of strengthening the support systems available to our communities.

The exercise gave participants a chance to step into the shoes of individuals in need and gain a deeper understanding of their daily struggles
