Wrapping up our second day of ELI’s Session III. ACEC/AIA Emerging leaders heard from Richard Moeller, Gallagher Insurance, on Professional Liability Documentation & Record keeping and Dale Clary, The Long Law Firm, on Contract Language.

Started the afternoon sessions with team building, emotional intelligence, and hearing from A/E Principals on their professional track, lessons learned, and tactics for keeping a leader moving forward in their firms.

Thank you to the Class of 2026 for being engaging and becoming better leaders in their firms and communities.

Day 3 of the 2026 Deep South Convention was another success!

We wrapped up the conference with transportation updates from our very own Louisiana DOTD Secretary, Glenn Ledet, alongside Alabama DOT Chief Engineer Ed Austin , Arkansas DOT Chief Engineer Jessie Jones, and Mississippi DOT Executive Director Brad White.
A sincere thank you to each of our transportation leaders for sharing their time, expertise, and insights with our members.

Beyond the informative sessions, the greatest part of this conference was the opportunity to connect with members from across the Deep South.

We appreciate everyone who joined us and are already looking forward to the 2027 Deep South Convention at Barnsley Resort. See ya’ll in Adairsville, Georgia!

Day 2 at the 2026 ACEC Deep South Convention challenged us to evolve, recognize new opportunities, and prepare for the future. Grateful for another day of great conversations and valuable insights!

The 2026 Deep South Convention is officially underway! We kicked day 1 off with a welcome dinner, celebrated the installation of our new board members, and wrapped up the evening with a little friendly competition during the co****le tournament.

It was a great start to the convention, bringing members together to connect, celebrate new leadership, and enjoy time spent with colleagues and their families. Looking forward to an exciting couple of days ahead!
