Production Associate:
Starting Pay - $18.75
1 Year - $19.50
2 Years - $20.25
3 Years - $21.00

Hot Forging Press Operators:
Starting Pay - $20.25
1 Year - $21.00
2 Years - $21.75
3 Years - $22.50

We are looking for hard workers to fill machining, assembly, and hot forging operator positions within our production departments. We are hiring for all shifts, with full-time and part-time positions available. Associates start off at their base pay, and receive pay increases each year until the maximum pay rate has been reached.

Job Title: 2nd Shift Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Company: Musashi Auto Parts - Michigan, Inc.

Department/Position: Production Control
Reports To: Shipping & Receiving Team Leader
Compensation: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Position Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the distribution of material to designated departments throughout the plant. This position is also responsible for all aspects of the shipping and receiving function during their assigned shift including the loading/unloading of trucks and paperwork.

Essential Functions
1. Perform material handling duties required to obtain and move materials for production.
2. Reports defective equipment and product to departmental leadership.
3. Maintains the assigned work station in a clean and orderly fashion and complies with all required safety regulations.
4. Staging dock(s) for upcoming shipments including the preparation of skids for shipment
5. Loading trucks for shipment and unloading trucks delivering product to Musashi
6. Completes shipping and receiving entries in computer system and distributes paperwork to appropriate department(s).
7. Assists with physical inventories.
8. A portion of duties will be involved at Musashi warehouse facility.

Competencies
1. Time Management: Ability to prioritize and establish targets to meet deadlines
2. Driving Skills: Ability to operate Fork Truck.
3. Computer Skills: Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and SAP
4. Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers, suppliers and vendors.
5. Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal Musashi associates, customers, suppliers and vendors.
6. Technical Skills: General understanding of their positional roles and responsibilities and the ability to perform their assigned tasks

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The associate frequently works near moving mechanical equipment and chemicals. The production floor is not air conditioned- the associate will be exposed to varying temperatures. The associate will frequently be exposed to loud noise levels.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit on the fork truck. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Position Type
This is a full time position that is to be performed at the physical location of Musashi Auto Parts- MI Inc. and/or its designated travel locations as required for training and other legitimate business needs. This position is not eligible for telecommuting or any other ‘work from home’ program.

Travel
This position typically does not require travel.

Recommended Education and Experience
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Valid, state endorsed driver’s license
3. Two or more years material handling experience, warehouse and/or shipping and receiving
