September means cooler mornings, changing routines, and back-to-school traffic — but safety never takes a season off! 👷‍♀️🍎🚌

This month, Safety Suzy is talking roof safety: proper fall protection, secure tools and materials, good housekeeping, non-slip footwear, and taking a few extra minutes to identify hazards before starting the job.

Whether you’re working six feet up or driving through a school zone, the goal is the same: stay alert, work smart, and get everyone home safely.

🚧 Safety starts with speaking up! 🚧

At Shouldice, every incident matters—whether it's a minor cut, a bumped head, a near miss, or even property damage. Reporting it immediately helps us correct hazards, prevent future injuries, and make sure our team gets the care they need if something becomes more serious later.

This month's Safety Suzy has a new look... apparently she grew a mustache. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 Don't worry—the safety message is still clean-shaven!

✔️ Report all injuries immediately.
✔️ Report all near misses.
✔️ Report property damage.
✔️ Look out for one another.

Because at the end of the day, the most important thing we build is making sure everyone goes home safely.

Earlier this week, we shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of our friend and coworker, Jacob Beltz. The incredible outpouring of love, prayers, and support from our employees, customers, friends, and community has been a true comfort to Jacob's family and to all of us here at Shouldice.

Many have reached out asking how they can help. A GoFundMe has now been established to support Jacob's wife, Bree, and their two young boys, Jasper and Cooper, as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
