🇺🇸 Every Veteran Has a Story. We Want to Hear Theirs. 🇺🇸

Just a little reminder that Backyard Salute nominations are STILL OPEN! ❤️🤍💙

Behind every veteran and military family is a story of service, sacrifice, and strength. Some are told often, while others are quietly carried for years.

We want to hear those stories.

If you know a veteran, military spouse, or family who deserves a little something given back, we would be honored to hear about them.

It’s our turn to say thank you, not just with words, but with something we can build with our own two hands. 🌳

Well, in true Great Oak tradition, we had a few new characters show up on the jobsite this year! 🎃😂

And who better than the one and only MARIO BROS! 🍄🔨

Turns out Luigi is the only one who actually knows his way around a jobsite. Mario… well, let’s just say he better stick to plumbing. 🚽🤣

No princesses rescued, no mystery blocks busted, but we DID manage to get some concrete work done! 💪😂

HAPPY HALLOWEEN from the Great Oak crew!! 🎃👻🍄

🇺🇸 **WHO CAN BE NOMINATED FOR BACKYARD SALUTE?** 🇺🇸

When we say we want to honor those who have served, we don't just mean the ones who wore the uniform.

We mean the families who stood beside them, too. ❤️🤍💙

🌟 **Veterans** The men and women who answered the call to serve our country.

🌟 **Military Spouses** The husbands and wives who stood strong through deployments, sacrifices, and everything in between.

🌟 **Military Families** The children, parents, surviving spouses, and loved ones whose lives have been shaped by military service.

**And here's the important part...**

You don't have to nominate someone facing hardship. We're not looking for the saddest story.

We're looking for incredible people with stories worth hearing!

Maybe it's your grandpa, your neighbor, your spouse, or a family that's quietly given more than most people will ever know.

**We want to hear about them!** 🇺🇸

Nominations are officially OPEN through November 10!

📍 Springfield, MO and surrounding communities.
