More and more 6ARC stuff is being commissioned these days. I wonder if this has the staying power folks are predicting? Some have stayed that I didn't think would, like 300 Barack Obama (according to Farro's Lead Farm LLC ;). Others seem to hang on that probably ought to expire, like 6.8SPC. Who knows?!?!?!

Would you buy and use a 6ARC?

Mayo as a binder to hold some Head Country rub, lump charcoal for heat, and bourbon barrel planks for smoke. Pulled at 205F, wrapped in foil with a splash of apple juice.

They should be pretty good. I guess we'll see what folks say at the Shooting Sports banquet!

Me: I need some lump charcoal and the biggest machete you've got.
Store Lady: We've got that. (I hear her chuckle) Sounds like fun, by the way.
Me: I'll take it. I can be there in 15 minutes. My name is Michael.
Store Lady: I'll have it ready to go at the checkout when you arrive.
Me: Booyah. Jesus loves you and so do I.
Store Lady: Thanks! I'll see you soon.

There is always something endearing about small-town hardware stores that is unlikely to ever manifest at big-box stores. I love these little spots. I didn't spend more than at a box store, and I was in and out in a minute, and didn't have to park across the county in their parking lot. Now to get the smoker rolling.

Also, I'm not telling you what the machete is for. If you can guess, I'll mail you a cap. ;)
