A few weeks ago I installed some lvl beams to replace the damaged box beam as it was sagging by the house settling. The miters on the trim were also pulling apart on this homeowner’s house. With the new beams being installed there is no longer a sag and the home owner can continue doing his face lift and won’t have to worry about the dexterity of his porch.

Here's a Veranda deck railing system I installed. My client had a problem with their insurance company due to the lack of guard and handrails. According to Michigan state code, guardrails are required on structures 30 inches above the floor or grade below. The homeowner decided to have this installed and not dispute the issue despite the fact that she was under the height requirement as it was 26 inches at the lowest point and over 20 years old. Nonetheless, after a safety check, a stain job, and the installation of this rail system, I must say that their back deck has substantially improved, and the client is quite pleased!
