Job Title: Receptionist /Dispatcher
Join our dynamic team at Four Point Heating & Cooling, where we believe in a welcoming teamwork environment. As an HVAC company, we are seeking a proactive, organized receptionist/dispatcher to play an active role in the day-to-day operations. Your primary responsibilities will be answering phones, scheduling appointments and miscellaneous office duties. You will be cross trained on our Payzer software to process payments over the phone. You will be working hand in hand with our field technicians and coordinating with supply houses to order materials for upcoming service repairs. All the tasks mentioned are essential in keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently. Please know that the most common form of correspondence with our clients will be via phone, as well as email and occasionally in the office.
Qualifications we’re looking for:
- Must be dependable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
- Proven experience in a receptionist/dispatching role (preferred, not required)
- Exceptional communication skills and phone etiquette
- Experience with calendar management and scheduling software (preferred, not required)
- Knowledge of office equipment, phone systems and scanning
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in fast paced environment and can manage multi tasking effectively
- Ability to work independently
Working Conditions: This is a full time office position based in Point Pleasant, NJ. The hours are 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. 40 hours per week.
