According to the weather forecast, it will get pretty cold in the next couple of days. Many of us will spend more time indoors to stay warm and that means our heaters will be running longer to keep up with the demand.
If you have a live Christmas Tree, be sure to check the water in the base more often. The extra time the heater will be operating will cause the water in the base to evaporate at a much faster rate than normal and can cause the tree to dry out and become very flammable.
It is also a good time to check the batteries and operation of your smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector along with having a fire extinguisher handy just in case.

It is time to service your heating system and have it ready for that first cold day. Call us to schedule your fall clean and check if we haven't already serviced your system this fall.
