When the homeowner wants to take it up a notch, details matter.

This project already had a strong look with custom cable rail and glass rail, but the homeowner wanted something that would really set it apart.

So we added a Sapele wood cap to the cable rail system — and it completely changed the feel of the job.

The warmth of the wood against the black metal and stainless cable gives this rail a much more custom, high-end finish. Clean lines, great contrast, and a look you just do not get from an off-the-shelf system.

And we may not be done yet… there’s a good chance the glass rail cap will be getting the same wood treatment soon to tie everything together.

No kits. No shortcuts. Just custom work built to fit the house and the vision.

From deposit on June 9 to glass on the roof before July 4. 🇺🇸

This one was a race against the clock.

The mission: get this rooftop glass railing system measured, fabricated, black anodized, glazed, delivered, and installed in time for the homeowners to enjoy the Fourth of July fireworks from the roof.

That meant:

* field measuring
* fabricating the aluminum glass shoe and cap rail
* ordering and producing the 1/2” tempered glass
* getting the aluminum black anodized
* coordinating delivery
* getting everything craned to the roof and installed

A tight timeline, a lot of moving parts, and not much room for error.

What looked almost impossible a few weeks ago is now on track to happen — and that’s what it takes to get it done.
