Picture this…the shoreline was giving way, the tide wasn’t waiting, and our neighbors needed help.

When our neighbors at Duke University Marine Lab found themselves facing a collapsing seawall, our team mobilized quickly to help limit further damage and provide a temporary solution. Our objectives: secure the shoreline, stabilize the bank, beat the tide. 🌊

Moments like these remind us WHY we do what we do. We are proud to be the team our community can count on.

THE ODELL.

Named after a legendary foreman and captained by our one and only Russell Reed. These names are so much more than those of TD Eure employees— they’re part of the legacy of our company. Much like the boat itself…

The roar of her 671 brings comfort to our team and instills confidence in our clients. She may not be the largest vessel in the fleet, but she represents the heart of what we do here. The Odell is a neat reminder that sometimes the smallest boats carry the biggest stories.

Earlier this week she pulled into Wayfarer’s Cove Marina for some touch ups, and now she’s back to work. Kudos to our team for putting even the best NASCAR pit crew to shame with their speed and diligence.

Our Virginia-based crew (shoutout to Kyle, Bob, Will, Nick, and Scott) has been absolutely crushing it!

Log trucks rolling + barges moving + excavators installing = lots of living shoreline along the eastern branch of the Elizabeth River. Keep it up, y’all! 🪵 🏗️

We are… well… pretty much in the middle of nowhere. 🤯

Deep in the woods of Hyde County, our team is hard at work installing 18 water control structures throughout the Pocosin. These structures will help regulate natural stormwater levels and play an important role in reducing the risk of widespread forest fires.

It may take a few turns down dirt roads to get here, but the work being done out here matters. 🙌🏼

Our residential crew is at it again! This time, they are strengthening the shoreline at the Gull Harbor Marina. Today they drove face pilings to prepare for vinyl sheets to be driven next week. A brand new seawall will soon be in place! 🌊
