At Vonco, our depackaging system lets us cleanly separate organics from packaging. What you see here is the reject stream that’s left over. Since we can tip the packaging, non-organic materials directly on‑site at our landfill, we eliminate extra hauling, cut fuel use, and shrink our carbon footprint.

The now separated organics stream goes out onto our pad to be composted! Smart processing, cleaner organics, and a more efficient sustainability loop.

Our facility is engineered to separate organic material from its packaging with precision and scale—handling everything from canned and frozen goods to dry, wet, and bulk products. By recovering clean organics and diverting it, we’re reducing landfill impact while fueling the growth of our compost operations in Becker, MN.
