L3x5 x 1/2" wall. Holes cut on the 6kw tube laser, then tapped on the tap arm. Clean threads, no drill press required. Welded up to some tubing using tab and slot.

Bevel cutting some 3 1/2" square tubing that is 3/8" wall thickness. We used to cut this part using a grinder and hand fit it. Time savings is insane here.

Now Hiring: Summer Help (High School Student)

Accuracy Laser & Fabrication in Bedford is looking for a motivated high school student for the summer. Part time, roughly 5 to 10 hours a week but possibility for more, with flexible scheduling.

We've got plenty to do around the shop: organizing, labeling, painting projects like floor lines, and general improvements that keep things running smoothly. If you're someone who takes pride in a clean, well organized space and likes seeing a job done right, you'll fit in well.

A bonus if you're also handy with a camera or phone, since we'd love some help capturing photos of our products and projects for social media.

We have been working on something behind the scenes for almost three years now and it is finally at a point where we are proud to show it off.
We built our own internal quoting and job management system from the ground up. It handles everything from quoting to work orders to shipping paperwork. The packing slip you see here was generated straight out of the system and shipped with the parts.
Why build our own? Because nothing on the market did what we needed it to do. We wanted proper work orders on the floor so nothing gets missed, the ability for our guys to pull up prints, PDFs, and STEP files right at the shop computer or on a tablet, and professional documentation that goes out the door with every shipment.
It is not done. We are still improving it every day, solving problems before they become problems. But it has already changed how we run jobs and how our customers receive their parts.
