Well… today took an unexpected turn.

While checking on one of the homes we recently completed, we discovered a cat had accidentally been trapped in the crawl space after the access cover was installed. Somehow, this little survivor made it about a week under there.

After getting her out, giving her food and water, and checking with neighbors nearby, everyone said she was a stray that had been hanging around the area for a while.

She followed me around the job site for over an hour afterward — inside the house, outside the house, everywhere I went. Needless to say… I think I’ve been adopted. 😂

Meet “Tostada” 🖤🤍

She’s extremely sweet, very skinny, and now officially off the streets and safe at home.

Not exactly what we expected the day to look like, but I’m really glad we found her when we did.
